This e-learning is a mandatory part of the Federation Trustee role and is delivered as part of NFWI’s commitment to working in partnership with federations and providing support and guidance throughout the National Federation.
This course is designed to give you confidence in your role, show you where to find support, and ensure your experience as a trustee is a rewarding one. By completing this course, you’ll gain a clear understanding of the legal and technical requirements of your trustee role, which helps protect both you and your federation board.
This course is primarily aimed at WI members undertaking the role of Safeguarding Officer for their federation. Please note, in order to carry out the role of a Federation Safeguarding Officer role you must have been elected by your federation. However, the training is open to all WI members.
This e-learning is delivered as part of NFWI’s commitment to working in partnership with federations and providing additional support and guidance throughout the National Federation.
This course has been designed to support you in your role as a WI Adviser to ensure WIs comply with the organisation's legal constitutional requirements.
This course is primarily aimed at WI members undertaking the role of Resolutions Coordinator for their federation. The course may also appeal to WI members who provide advice, on behalf of their federation, to members submitting resolutions. WI members who wish to submit a resolution or who are interested in resolutions and campaigns will also find this course of interest.
The Denman Grant Scheme is designed to support federations in delivering enriching educational projects for their members.
Each year, federations are invited to apply for a share of the £150,000 fund, enabling them to create impactful projects that benefit their local communities.
Explore the Denman Grant Scheme and discover how it can help bring your federation’s educational vision to life!
Visit our Social Media Area for practical resources, created especially for federations and WIs who want to get the most out of social media.
There are a number of additional areas that federations need volunteers for. All of these help support federations and WIs to run smoothly. All of these roles contribute to each member enjoying being part of the WI and we hope that each volunteer gains valuable experience and a sense of satisfaction from volunteering.
